Empowering and inspiring everyone, everywhere, to reach for their highest visions of what is possible for their lives is the passionate, life-long mission of inspirational author and artist

An artist, writer and spiritual seeker all her life, she also holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology - and some years ago decided to combine all of her interests and skills into one, and to create something that could make a difference in the lives of others.

The result was a series of gorgeously designed and beautifully worded posters and small prints that featured empowering messages affirming for all of us that we do have the power to take steps towards making our deepest dreams come true - and that it is high time to honor and celebrate our own beauty, wisdom and strength. Appropriately naming both her business and her framed prints Inspirations, she began to sell her product line in stores nationwide - and it was an immediate success.

Within a year, she was selling to stores from coast to coast, and by the second year, her work was represented in a major national direct mail catalogue. But just as her business was starting to take off, the greatest challenge of her life was to come upon her. Her marriage of seven years suddenly ended, and she found herself overnight transformed into a single mother of a young child. And creating a successful business while being the sole parent and provider for her family at the same time, has not been an easy road to travel.

But Caroline feels strongly that it's also been an empowering and exhilarating journey - one that has fueled her own greatest growth - and been the catalyst for her most meaningful writing. After all, as she says - and knows from the deepest place in her own soul "All things of beauty truly are birthed from the darkness into the light."

This quote - rendered in Caroline's uniquely elegant, colorful, calligraphic style - along with twenty five other such pages of inspiring quotations - graces her newest creation, the gorgeously designed 176 page giftbook for women, A Woman of Wisdom: Honoring and Celebrating Who You Are (November 1999, TenSpeed/Celestial Arts Press). This beautiful and insightful book encourages women to gain a much greater appreciation of their own strengths, gifts, visions, and accomplishments.

And she has an expansive vision for what this book can accomplish for women everywhere. Her goal is donate much of the profits from her book sales to worthy causes, including Habitat for Humanity and other organizations that are creating a better world for all of us.
